Hikvision India has introduced the latest generation of its Turbo HD series of analog security products. The new Turbo HD 8.0 series aims to provide a more comprehensive and interactive security experience for users, enhancing their visual security setups.
Turbo HD 8.0 features several significant innovations, including real-time communication capabilities, 180-degree video protection, and improved night vision.

TVI Two-Way Audio
The Turbo HD 8.0 cameras now include two-way audio capabilities, making them useful for real-time communication in various scenarios, such as at fences and door-to-door intercoms. The system utilizes intelligent noise reduction to filter ambient sounds and isolate human voices, ensuring clear conversations. The high-powered 2W speakers provide strong and immersive sound quality, and the intercom system allows for comfortable communication over long distances, with a 3-meter intercom pickup and a 5-meter remote pickup.
Smart Hybrid Light
The Smart Hybrid Light technology, now available in all Turbo HD 8.0 cameras, significantly enhances night vision capabilities. These cameras feature a wide F1.6 aperture to capture color images during critical events involving people or vehicles. Advanced models equipped with ColorVu technology have an even larger F1.0 aperture, delayed supplemental light activation, a Super Confocal Lens, and a BSI high-sensitivity sensor, allowing for even better night images.
Upgraded Intelligence With Advanced Pro-Series DVR
The new pro-series DVR in the Turbo HD 8.0 range includes AcuSense technology, which expands intelligent channel support and improves performance for perimeter protection. It also integrates smart technologies such as facial recognition, Motion Detection 2.0, and perimeter protection in a single device to meet various security needs. An upcoming update will add the AcuSearch function, allowing for precise target searches with a single click, enhancing video search efficiency.
