Karnataka Government Joins Hands With Truecaller To Boost Cyber Safety Awareness

Through this partnership, a comprehensive campaign will be launched to raise awareness about online safety, providing practical tips to prevent falling victim to scams and ensuring the responsible use of digital communication platforms.

Priyank Kharge, the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and ITBT, highlighted the government’s commitment to prioritising citizen safety in the digital realm. He emphasised the proactive measures being taken to increase awareness and promote safety in digital communications, especially in light of the escalating cybercrimes and frauds facilitated by advancing technology.

Rishit Jhunjhunwala, the Chief Product Officer and Managing Director of Truecaller India, expressed delight in collaborating with the government to bolster digital safety.
