The collaboration between the state government and Truecaller seeks to equip citizens with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate the digital landscape safely. Through this partnership, a comprehensive campaign will be launched to raise awareness about online safety, providing practical tips to prevent falling victim to scams and ensuring the responsible use of digital communication platforms.
Priyank Kharge, the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and ITBT, highlighted the government’s commitment to prioritising citizen safety in the digital realm. He emphasised the proactive measures being taken to increase awareness and promote safety in digital communications, especially in light of the escalating cybercrimes and frauds facilitated by advancing technology.
