Kyndryl Foundation Grants Support To DSCI, Nonprofits For Enhancing Cybersecurity Skills

DSCI’s inclusion in the grant recipients aligns with its mission to promote best practices and standards in cybersecurity, contributing to a safer and more trusted cyberspace in India

The Kyndryl Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Kyndryl, a prominent IT infrastructure services provider, has announced its inaugural grants for nonprofit organisations worldwide. Among the 11 recipients selected for the grants, the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) stands out as a notable recipient. DSCI, established by NASSCOM, is dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity and privacy standards in India’s digital landscape.

The grants, aimed at fostering inclusivity in the cybersecurity workforce and bolstering nonprofit resilience against cyber threats, reflect Kyndryl Foundation’s commitment to community development through technology accessibility and skill-building initiatives.

Una Pulizzi, President of the Kyndryl Foundation, emphasised the importance of these grants in addressing cybersecurity challenges while promoting diversity and skill development. Pulizzi highlighted the foundation’s partnership with grantees like DSCI, who share a common goal of tackling societal issues through innovative programs.

DSCI’s inclusion in the grant recipients aligns with its mission to promote best practices and standards in cybersecurity, contributing to a safer and more trusted cyberspace in India. Other recipients include organizations such as CodePath, Czechitas, and NPower, each playing a vital role in fostering cybersecurity talent and enhancing nonprofit resilience globally.

The Kyndryl Foundation’s initiative underscores the growing importance of cybersecurity education and preparedness in an increasingly digital world. By supporting organisations like DSCI, the foundation aims to create a more equitable and cyber-resilient society.
