Uttarakhand Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi held a high-level meeting with officials of the State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (SIDCUL), Civil Aviation Department

Uttarakhand’s Additional Chief Secretary, Radha Raturi, had an important meeting on Wednesday with officials from various government departments. They talked about making a plan for a new security force in Uttarakhand called the State Industrial Security Force (SISF). This force would work similarly to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) that currently operates in the State Secretariat. The information comes from an official statement.

During the meeting, Radha Raturi briefed officials to  share details about how many security people are needed for banks, airports, helipads, industries, SIDCUL, and government and business places in the state. This information needs to go to the Home Department, as mentioned in the official statement.

Radha Raturi mentioned that the Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, wants to create the SISF in Uttarakhand, following the example of the CISF. To make this happen, they need to figure out exactly how many security people are needed for banks (to protect money) and for places like airports, helipads, industries, SIDCUL, and government and private offices in the state.

The Additional Chief Secretary stressed that there’s an urgent need for a good and careful security force to make sure banks, industries, helipads, and government places in the state are safe and secure.

“There is an urgent need for a responsible and sensitive force for tight security of banks, industrial establishments and government undertakings in the state,” Raturi said.
