Ankush Maria, a veteran in risk management with over two decades of experience leading global teams, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Security Officer for EY. This global role represents another milestone for India, as a local leader steps into a significant international position.
Ankush has spent much of his career collaborating with top executives around the world, crafting and implementing robust strategies in areas such as operational risk, business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management. His deep expertise has played a key role in protecting employees and maintaining business operations during crises.
Before joining EY, Ankush held a senior leadership role at American Express, where he served as the Sr. Manager of Business Continuity Planning and Operational Risk. His journey with EY began 12 years ago when he joined as the Assistant Director of Business Continuity Management. Over the years, he has steadily risen through the ranks, demonstrating consistent excellence and leadership. Most recently, Ankush was the Director of Global Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity Leader for EY’s GDS NCR location.
His promotion is a reflection of his strong track record in safeguarding organizational resilience and guiding teams through complex challenges.
