The Indian delegation, led by Munu Mahawar (Additional Secretary, North, Ministry of External Affairs), and its Nepali counterpart, led by Gahendra Rajbhandari (Joint Secretary, South Asia, Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs), were joined by senior officials from their respective ministries and military directorates .

Over the two-day session, both sides engaged in candid dialogue on counter‑terrorism, intelligence sharing, border management, and disaster response coordination. These discussions aim to strengthen real-time information exchange and operational alignment in confronting security challenges across the shared Himalayan frontier.

The meeting also included field visits to public and private security-focused installations, allowing officials to evaluate emerging technologies and systems that could support enhanced surveillance and joint response frameworks.
