The ASIS New Delhi India Chapter hosted its Q4 meeting in Noida, delivering a highly successful event organised in strategic partnership with the Global Association of Corporate Services (GACS). According to a chapter spokesperson, the collaboration enabled access to a broader pool of expert speakers and a wider range of discussion themes—an objective that was “achieved with notable impact.”
The session opened with an address by Chapter Chairperson Mahesh Singh Chauhan, who introduced ASIS to the GACS delegation, followed by opening remarks from Harinder Singh of GACS, marking a strong start to the partnership.
The keynote address was delivered by Ankur Handa of UTI Asset Management, whose session on financial management drew strong engagement. His presentation offered practical insights that left attendees “wiser and better informed” on key aspects of personal and professional finance.
A major highlight of the event was an in-depth panel discussion on “Insider Threat in a Polarised Workforce.” Moderated by Chauhan, the conversation featured panellists Col. Abhijit Singh (Retd), Ankit Sabharwal, Bhavita Shinde, Amrinder Singh, and Maj. Gaurav Uppal (Retd.). Their diverse viewpoints shed light on evolving insider-threat challenges and the need to integrate proven traditional approaches with emerging technological solutions.
This was followed by another panel discussion, led by Col. Ashok Prabhakar (Retd.) from GACS, focusing on “Evolving Trends in the Workspace.” Senior professionals from the facilities management sector examined how shifting workplace dynamics—driven by technology, workforce expectations and operational transformation—are influencing organisational strategies. The panel emphasised the importance of agility and proactive adaptation to navigate this rapidly changing landscape.
The event attracted approximately 150 security and multidisciplinary professionals, including the GACS team and their delegates. The impressive turnout on a Saturday underscored the relevance of the topics and the growing interest in collaborative industry platforms.
During the closing session, Mahesh Singh Chauhan announced that the ASIS New Delhi India Chapter’s Annual General Meeting and Conference will be held on 19 December 2025.
