Tenable Enhances Identity Security With Identity 360 & Exposure Center

With the introduction of Identity 360 and Exposure Center, Tenable seeks to simplify identity security by providing a single source of truth for managing identity risks across different identity providers

Tenable, a leading exposure management company, has launched Identity 360 and Exposure Center, two advanced capabilities under Tenable Identity Exposure aimed at tackling identity security challenges and preventing cyberattacks stemming from compromised credentials.

The increasing fragmentation of identity management has led to identity sprawl, where organisations struggle with a complex web of accounts, permissions, and misconfigurations spread across multiple platforms. This lack of unified visibility weakens access controls and creates vulnerabilities that cybercriminals exploit through privilege escalation and lateral movement.

With the introduction of Identity 360 and Exposure Center, Tenable seeks to simplify identity security by providing a single source of truth for managing identity risks across different identity providers.

“Compromised identities are at the root of nearly every successful cyberattack,” said Shai Morag, Chief Product Officer, Tenable. “Today, 75% of organisations manage two or more identity solutions, which increases the complexity of securing identities. Tenable Identity Exposure provides full visibility into identity risks and delivers actionable remediation steps, enabling organisations to prevent attacks before they occur.”

Key Features Of New Capabilities

Comprehensive Identity Visibility and Risk Prioritisation: Identity 360 offers a unified view of accounts, entitlements, roles, and security weaknesses across Active Directory and Entra ID, allowing organisations to streamline risk management.

Centralised Weakness Management: Exposure Center consolidates identity-related vulnerabilities, such as privilege misconfigurations, excessive permissions, stale accounts, and risky trust relationships, into a single interface. It provides detailed remediation guidance and one-click PowerShell scripts to address these risks.

AI-Driven Identity Asset Exposure Score (AES): The system assigns AI-powered risk scores, helping organisations prioritise their security efforts by focusing on the most critical identity threats.

By continuously monitoring misconfigurations, attack paths, and security weaknesses, Tenable Identity Exposure enables organisations to proactively reduce risks and strengthen their overall security posture.
