VIVOTEK, a global leader in IP security solutions, has announced a new integration partnership with ProdataKey (PDK), a cloud-based access control provider based in Draper, Utah. This collaboration will integrate VIVOTEK’s VORTEX cloud surveillance platform with PDK’s access control systems, providing a more comprehensive physical security solution for users.

“We are thrilled to announce the integration of ProdataKey’s access control systems with VIVOTEK’s advanced camera technology,” said Brach Bengtzen, Vice President of Marketing at ProdataKey. “This collaboration brings together the strength of both platforms, providing users with a seamless security experience. By syncing our systems, users can now enjoy enhanced real-time monitoring, better incident response, and an overall more efficient, unified approach to managing their security infrastructure. We believe this integration will significantly elevate the security standards for our customers.”

The VORTEX platform, described by VIVOTEK as a next-generation, AI-powered solution, combines video data, artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing into a unified, robust security tool. It eliminates the need for traditional video management software and centralized systems, offering a more flexible and scalable approach. Video data is processed via edge computing directly on the camera, with backup in the cloud, reducing the time, costs, and bandwidth previously associated with video storage.

Albert Lin, General Manager of VIVOTEK USA, highlighted the significance of the partnership, noting, “PDK is a leading innovator of networked cloud-based access control products and services who are dedicated to providing an efficient and seamless user experience, making them ideally suited as a VIVOTEK partner and our VORTEX cloud surveillance platform. We are excited to continuously add new value and insights for VIVOTEK partners and users through these ever-evolving concepts and directives.”

The integration will allow users to manage their security systems more effectively, using both VIVOTEK’s cloud-powered video surveillance and PDK’s access control capabilities. PDK’s cloud platform, PDK.io, enables complete system management from any web-connected device, ensuring flexibility and ease of use.

The partnership marks a step forward in security solutions, combining real-time monitoring and intelligent data analysis with a user-friendly, cost-effective system. Both VIVOTEK and PDK are committed to creating seamless, efficient security systems that can meet the evolving needs of customers across North America and beyond.
