Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, has spoken out after both of his YouTube channels were hacked late Wednesday night. At around 11:30 PM, hackers took control of his channels, deleting all his videos and uploading new content featuring Elon Musk and Donald Trump. The hackers also renamed the channels to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024” and “@Tesla.event.trump_2024.”
Currently, both channel links lead to a “404 not found” error page, displaying a message saying, “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else.”
After returning from Singapore, Allahbadia addressed the situation humorously. “Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favourite food. Vegan burgers,” he posted on social media, alongside a picture of his meal that included a vegan burger and fries. He further commented, “Death of BeerBiceps met with death of diet.”
Viraj Sheth, co-founder of Monk Entertainment—a company managing several content creators, including Allahbadia—confirmed that the hack wasn’t a publicity stunt. He expressed confidence in YouTube’s support team, stating they are hopeful the channels will be restored soon.
Sheth even shared a screenshot of one of the hacked channels, showing the replaced content. “Guess we are now selling Tesla cars and endorsing Trump for the time being,” he joked. However, he reassured fans by saying, “We’re calm as we have full faith in the YouTube team. It’s the most hands-on team I’ve worked with.”
Ranveer Allahbadia started his YouTube journey at the age of 22, focusing on fitness and cooking content through his channel, BeerBiceps. A graduate of Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering, he has since built a massive following across multiple social media platforms, with millions of subscribers and followers on YouTube and Instagram. Over the years, his content has evolved, and he now hosts one of India’s leading podcasts.
The hacking incident has left his followers concerned, but Allahbadia and his team remain optimistic that the situation will be resolved with the help of YouTube.
