RBL Finserve Chooses CyberArk To Enhance Cybersecurity & Protect Customer Data

The institution also integrated CyberArk Single Sign-On (SSO) and Adaptive Multifactor Authentication (MFA) into its systems

CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), a leader in identity security, announced today that RBL Finserve, one of India’s major financial institutions, has adopted the CyberArk Identity Security Platform to strengthen its cyber resilience, safeguard customer data, and ensure business continuity amid a rapidly changing threat landscape.

Operating through a network of over 1,000 branches, RBL Finserve serves millions of customers, with a strong focus on economically vulnerable communities. The institution’s growing dependence on third-party services, cloud computing, and remote work rendered traditional perimeter-based cybersecurity approaches insufficient for managing an increasing number of digital identities. Additionally, RBL Finserve aimed to bolster its defenses against potential password leaks.

To address these challenges, RBL Finserve implemented the CyberArk Identity Security Platform, grounded in zero trust principles, to secure credentials and manage privileged accounts. Specifically, it deployed the CyberArk Privileged Access Manager and CyberArk Workforce Identity to monitor and control privileged access. The platform allows RBL Finserve to manage IT administrators’ access by isolating and monitoring sessions while regularly rotating credentials for added security.

The institution also integrated CyberArk Single Sign-On (SSO) and Adaptive Multifactor Authentication (MFA) into its systems, laying the groundwork for future expansion of intelligent privilege controls across all human identities, including those of third-party vendors.

S K Mohanty, Chief Information Officer at RBL Finserve, emphasised the impact of this integration: “The CyberArk Identity Security Platform has enabled RBL Finserve to integrate a security-first mindset into its digital transformation initiatives. We have achieved a new benchmark for digital trust and safety, reinforcing the values that the RBL Finserve brand is built on.”

Rohan Vaidya, Area Vice President for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) at CyberArk, added: “We are honored to be chosen by RBL Finserve to enhance their identity security. By utilising CyberArk’s intelligent privilege controls, RBL Finserve is protecting customer data and the systems that support millions of households and businesses.”

RBL Finserve’s adoption of CyberArk’s platform marks a significant step in its efforts to secure its digital infrastructure and uphold trust among its customers while advancing its digital transformation.
