On the international front, India and Vietnam recently held their third security dialogue in Hanoi. The talks, co-chaired by Deputy National Security Adviser Pavan Kapoor and Lt. Gen. Pham The Tung of Vietnam, focused on counter-terrorism, transnational crime, and emerging cyber threats. Both nations discussed capacity-building initiatives and joint participation in United Nations peacekeeping operations. The dialogue underscores the growing strategic partnership between India and Vietnam, which has been steadily strengthened since 2007 through regular high-level interactions.
