Clear Expands Fast-track Security To UK, Canada, Australia & New Zealand Travellers

The biometric identity verification company is opening its expedited security service to international visitors for the first time as it eyes further expansion

Clear, the biometric identity verification company, has announced a significant expansion of its expedited security service, making it available to travellers from the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This is the first time the company has opened its fast-track security lanes to international visitors, marking a major step in its growth strategy.

International travellers from these four countries can now enrol in the CLEAR+ service online or in person at any of the company’s 59 airport locations across the United States. According to the company, enrolment is immediate upon verification of a passport, granting instant access to its network of over 150 dedicated security lanes.

The move comes as international travel to the US continues to rebound from pandemic-era restrictions. According to the company’s chief executive, Caryn Seidman Becker, the expansion aligns with Clear’s core vision “to make travel safer, easier, and more predictable using the power of identity.”

Clear’s platform uses biometric technology to verify travellers’ identities, allowing them to bypass traditional security queues. The company has a growing user base of more than 33 million members, with over 7.6 million enrolled in the premium CLEAR+ service. The company plans to expand the service to additional Visa Waiver Program countries later this year.
