The prestigious SCOPE Convention Centre in New Delhi hosted the Bharat National Cyber Security Exercise (NCX) 2023 from October 9th to 20th, marking a significant milestone in India’s pursuit of cybersecurity excellence.
This flagship event brought together over 300 participants from various government agencies, public organisations, and the private sector, all dedicated to protecting critical information infrastructure.

Lt Gen M U Nair, National Cyber Security Coordinator, provided insights into India’s cyber threats landscape, stressing the need for collective vigilance.
Col. Nidhish Bhatnagar, the Director of RRU, praised the government’s commitment to cybersecurity in a digitised world with increased threats.
Bharat NCX 2023 included intense training, a cyber exercise, leadership discussions, and the Bharat NCX CISOs Conclave for over 200 Chief Information Security Officers. An exhibition showcased innovations by Indian Cyber Security start-ups and Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs).
The event also highlighted the importance of a National Cyber Security Strategy, governance structures, legal frameworks, threat intel sharing, and public-private partnerships.
