Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that India and Poland have agreed on a social security agreement, marking a significant development in the relationship between the two nations. Speaking to the Indian community in Warsaw, PM Modi emphasised the strengthening ties in areas such as new technology and clean energy.

He highlighted the role of Kabaddi in connecting the two countries, noting that Poland will host the Kabaddi championship for the first time this year.

Addressing the audience, PM Modi said, “Innovation and youth will energise the development of both nations. Today, I bring you great news—India and Poland have agreed on a social security agreement that will benefit many of you.”

Modi also spoke about India’s global influence, stating, “India’s wisdom, vision, culture, care, and compassion are global. Our ancestors gave us the mantra of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, seeing the world as one family, which is reflected in India’s policies today. During the G20, India called for ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’.”

The Prime Minister added that he would be meeting Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Andrzej Duda, aiming to further strengthen ties between the two nations.

Expressing satisfaction with the growing partnership, PM Modi said, “I am pleased that the collaboration between India and Poland continues to expand in areas like new technology and clean energy. Indian companies have made investments here, creating jobs, while Polish companies have seized opportunities in India.”
