Johnson Controls has introduced the Illustra Standard Gen3 series, representing a significant leap in India’s domestic manufacturing capabilities for cutting-edge security cameras. This move is in line with the Government’s Make in India initiative, reflecting Johnson Controls’ commitment to self-sufficiency and global manufacturing prominence. Rajeev Samanta, GM Sales – South Asia, Security Products, Johnson Controls India, expressed immense pride in this development, emphasising the company’s dedication to leveraging local talent and resources, with over 75 per cent of components sourced locally. This initiative not only underscores Johnson Controls’ commitment to India’s technological advancement but also highlights its position as a key player in the global manufacturing landscape.

The Indian CCTV market is witnessing remarkable growth, with projections indicating a valuation of USD 3.98 billion in 2024 and a projected CAGR of 20.60 per cent by 2029. This exponential growth spans various sectors, ranging from residential to large-scale enterprises and public infrastructure such as airports and smart cities. The surge in demand underscores the need for tailored surveillance solutions, particularly with a push for domestic production in sectors like government enterprises and smart cities.

They encompass access control, video surveillance, cloud solutions, and intrusion detection, targeting sectors like defence, government, private enterprises, airports, and transportation projects.
