The Chennai-based firm adds a finance veteran with over three decades of experience as it works to build a globally competitive cybersecurity business from India.
K7 CyberSecurity has appointed Ajit Gautam as Senior Advisor – Strategic Finance & Governance. The move strengthens the company’s leadership as it pursues its ambition of building a globally competitive cybersecurity business from India, with a stated focus on financial discipline, strong governance and sustainable global growth.
Gautam brings more than three decades of experience in corporate finance, financial strategy, business advisory and governance. He has held senior financial leadership roles across technology, financial services and other industries. He served as Chief Financial Officer at VakilSearch and DesiCrew Solutions, and held senior finance positions at Sify, Emaar MGF and Cholamandalam DBS.

In his new role, Gautam will work closely with the leadership team on financial strategy, business performance, governance and commercial decision-making. His focus will include strengthening financial planning, improving business and product profitability, supporting investment decisions and establishing robust financial governance practices to enable K7 CyberSecurity’s growth in India and international markets.

Gautam is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a qualified Cost Accountant. He has also completed the Senior Management Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He is a Partner at Shubhadraa & Ajit, Chartered Accountants, where he advises businesses on financial management, taxation and corporate matters.
