In a recent incident at a Royal Enfield showroom in Rasta Peth, Pune, the discovery of missing cash during a routine check by the showroom manager, Izhar Kazi (30), brought attention to a security guard as the central figure in the incident.
The accused, Pramod Kumar, a security guard from Uttar Pradesh employed at the motorcycle showroom, is suspected to be the main individual involved in the alleged theft. Kazi oversaw two showrooms, Shewalewadi and Fatima Nagar, where standard procedures dictated that cash collected be handed to Kumar, who then passed it to another employee, Suraj Kumar.
Subsequently, Suraj Kumar was responsible for delivering the cash to the Fatima Nagar office, where Kazi was stationed. The security guard, working for several months at the showroom and entrusted with safeguarding the property during non-operational hours, is alleged to have taken advantage of this responsibility to commit the theft.
