The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Punjab Police have recovered a China-made drone from Tarn Taran district in Punjab. The operation took place on Sunday, following intelligence provided by the BSF.
According to a BSF release, the intelligence wing had alerted them about the presence of a drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district. Acting on this information, BSF troops and Punjab Police conducted a joint search operation in the area. During the search, they found a drone in a farming field near Kalsh Havelian village. The drone was identified as a China-made DJI Mavic-3 Classic.
“This successful operation is a result of prompt sharing of information and well-coordinated efforts of BSF troops and Punjab Police, thus underscoring their commitment to decimate the menace of illicit drones from across the border,” the BSF said in a statement.
