A “Commander of Frontline Warriors” Badge of Honour will be conferred upon a select group of professionals for their exemplary contributions to the private security industry and national service
The Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) and the Association of Private Detectives & Investigators (APDI) will convene their annual Governing Council Meeting on 14 June 2025 at the PHD Chamber of Commerce in New Delhi.
A major highlight of the meeting will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CAPSI and the Directorate General of Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (DG FS CD & HG), Ministry of Home Affairs. ASIS International – India Chapter will also join the strategic collaboration, aimed at strengthening India’s preparedness and response capabilities for hostile attacks and disasters. The agreement is expected to enhance coordination across prevention, response, and resilience measures.
The event will also mark the official launch of a white paper titled *“Guarding the Future: AI & Cyber Security in India’s Private Security Revolution”*. Produced by CAPSI’s AI & Cybersecurity Task Force, the report outlines a technology-forward vision for integrating artificial intelligence and cybersecurity frameworks into India’s private security landscape. It provides a strategic roadmap for upskilling the workforce and modernising private security operations.

The annual council meeting will serve as a platform to review past milestones and chart the organisation’s strategic direction for the coming year.
CAPSI’s AI & Cybersecurity Task Force, established in collaboration with CyberPeace Foundation, IITM Pravartak and leading cybersecurity firms, is also spearheading the development of National Centres of Excellence (CoEs). These centres aim to:
* Provide specialised training to private security professionals
* Drive research initiatives in AI and cybersecurity
* Develop AI-powered best practices for the sector
* Promote partnerships between government, academia and industry
