The company continues to innovate across its product portfolio, which includes fire-resistant safes, vaults, access control systems, and advanced alarm technologies
The Security Solutions business of Godrej & Boyce, part of the Godrej Enterprises Group, has outlined an ambitious plan to achieve a 50 per cent growth in revenue by FY27, aiming for a top-line of Rs 15 billion. This marks a significant increase from the Rs 10 billion revenue recorded in FY24, driven by a dual strategy of expanding exports to the Americas and Europe and leveraging regulatory changes in India.
Exports currently contribute around 10 per cent of the division’s revenue, with strong potential for growth. By FY27, this share is expected to rise to 14-15 per cent, with the Americas and Europe emerging as key growth regions. Despite challenges such as rising freight costs and longer transit times due to geopolitical issues in the Middle East, Godrej & Boyce remains focused on tapping into international markets with advanced security solutions.
Pushkar Gokhale, Executive Vice-President and Business Head of the Security Solutions Business at Godrej & Boyce, highlighted the opportunities in global markets, stating:
“The global demand for advanced security solutions, particularly in the Americas and Europe, presents a tremendous opportunity for us. These regions account for 60 per cent of the global market, and we are strategically positioning ourselves to capture this demand with innovative and compliant products tailored to international standards.”
The company continues to innovate across its product portfolio, which includes fire-resistant safes, vaults, access control systems, and advanced alarm technologies. These offerings have established Godrej Security Solutions as a trusted provider to a diverse client base, including banks, corporations, defence sectors, and government institutions.
On the domestic front, the company is poised to benefit from regulatory changes such as the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) mandate for safes and vaults. This policy is expected to drive a shift from unorganised to organised players, enhancing market share for brands prioritising quality and compliance. Godrej Security Solutions already holds 80 per cent of the organised B2C market and 58 per cent of the B2B segment in India.
Gokhale elaborated on the company’s broader vision, saying:
“Security is no longer just about safeguarding physical assets. It is about ensuring peace of mind and trust, whether at home, work, or in public spaces. With our unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence, we aim to redefine global security standards and establish India as a hub for world-class security solutions.”
As the company positions itself for growth, its strategic focus on international expansion and domestic market consolidation underscores its commitment to delivering innovative and reliable security solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
