The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) has entered into a significant partnership with the Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) to improve fire safety, life safety, and security standards in India’s real estate sector. The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 5, aiming to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing to raise safety benchmarks in the industry.
In a statement, NAREDCO emphasised that the partnership will focus on promoting the exchange of expertise and technological advancements in fire protection, life safety, and security systems, benefiting real estate stakeholders across India.
Speaking on the MoU, G Hari Babu, National President of NAREDCO, said, “The MoU with FSAI establishes a more integrated approach to real estate development in Delhi. The combined efforts of both organizations will enhance building safety, streamline regulations, and promote sustainable practices in India’s urban growth.”
Focus Areas Of Collaboration
The primary goal of the partnership is to facilitate knowledge exchange between NAREDCO and FSAI, particularly in the areas of technological advancements and safety systems. This includes fire safety, life safety, and security measures.
