Cybersecurity and Tech Expert Jeff Reed has made a significant move in the tech industry, leaving his role at Google Cloud to join Vectra AI as its inaugural Chief Product Officer. With over two decades of experience in top cybersecurity executive positions at companies like Cisco and Symantec, Reed’s expertise is poised to elevate Vectra AI’s cyber solutions to new heights.
In his previous role as Google Cloud’s vice president of product for cloud security, Reed played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s offerings. Now, he’s set to bring his wealth of experience to Vectra AI, a leading provider of XDR (extended detection and response) software based in San Jose, California.
“I’m excited to work with a team that has built a truly differentiated approach to helping customers cut through the noise to detect hybrid cyber-attacks quickly and at scale,” said Reed in a statement, expressing his enthusiasm for his new role.
