A round table conference is set to take place in Delhi on March 15th, organised by the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI). The conference aims to discuss the Evolving National Citizen Security Culture campaign. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has given its initial approval for the campaign and given its nod to support the initiative.
The campaign is a significant step for India in enhancing the safety and awareness of the citizens . It seeks to establish a comprehensive initiative to promote a sense of national security culture. This involves utilising various methods such as public awareness events, government engagement, and involvement of universities and civil society organisations.
Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) is backing the event, and a delegation from the university will participate. Kunwar Vikram Singh, the chairman of CAPSI, is leading the roundtable.

The campaign aims to empower communities, prevent security threats, and enhance cooperation at both national and international levels.
In a statement, Mr. Kunwar Vikram Singh reminded everyone that security is everyone’s responsibility. He urged individuals to prioritise safeguarding their online presence and protecting their information by remaining vigilant, informed, and proactive.
