The highlight feature of this unified AI-enabled platform is its ability to securely transmit data feeds from various locations across Ayodhya
Gurugram-based Mirasys (India), an AI-based video surveillance and analytics company, has successfully implemented its cutting-edge AI video surveillance systems. These systems have been strategically deployed on over 500 cameras, covering the premises and perimeter of the Ram Mandir, along with other crucial points across Ayodhya.
The installation of these state-of-the-art surveillance systems marks a important step in safeguarding all entrance and exit points, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of critical crossings, offices, and establishments within the town. According to a statement released by the company, the cameras provide seamless 360-degree view videos, offering an extensive surveillance network encompassing key areas such as the main gate of the Ram Mandir, its perimeter, as well as entry and exit points.
The highlight feature of this unified AI-enabled platform is its ability to securely transmit data feeds from various locations across Ayodhya, employing multi-tiered encryption between the cameras and the integrated command center. This advanced encryption protocol effectively nullifies any potential threats of hostile attacks or data tampering, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the surveillance data.
The surveillance devices boast enhanced capabilities such as high-definition zoom-in, facilitating precise identification of objects and accurate facial recognition even in challenging conditions.
Arindam Das Sarkar, the managing director of Mirasys (India), highlighted the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for security while prioritising data privacy. He emphasised the comprehensive features of the surveillance system, including facial recognition, crowd estimation, threshold alerts, and queue management, which collectively contribute to enhancing security measures while ensuring a smooth experience for devotees.
The AI-based surveillance system is designed to empower security personnel and authorities with real-time insights, enabling swift detection and response to any potential disturbances or security lapses. Notably, the system will play a crucial role in managing the expected serpentine queues for darshan at the Ram Mandir, with built-in features to alert officials if designated thresholds are exceeded, thus mitigating the risk of overcrowding-related incidents.
To further ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the data collected, Mirasys has implemented stringent measures for data storage and access control. All surveillance data is stored centrally and can only be accessed by authorised personnel, minimising the risk of unauthorised access or data breaches.
Founded in 2018 by Arindam Das Sarkar, Mirasys (India) has garnered recognition for its customer-centric approach, offering tailored solutions to meet specific client requirements while prioritising a seamless and personalized experience.
The deployment of Mirasys’ advanced AI surveillance systems at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir underscores the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for enhancing security measures, while also reflecting a significant stride towards ensuring the safety and well-being of devotees and visitors.
