Upon inspecting the contents of the dropped package, authorities recovered a pistol, six improvised explosive devices (IEDs), a grenade, a magazine, a quantity of bullets, and a substantial amount of cash. This discovery follows the recent thwarting of an infiltration bid by the Indian Army’s 16 Corps in the same Akhnoor sector on Saturday. The army reported that the movement of four suspected terrorists was detected through advanced surveillance devices during the intervening nights of December 22-23.
