Addverb Launches Robots With Advanced Generative AI At Logimat India 2024

Addverb, an Indian robotics and automation company ,was the highlight at Logimat India 2024 with the launch of several cutting-edge robotic solutions. Among these  innovations were India’s first assistive dog robot Trakr that is designed to be used in inspections, patrolling, and surveillance tasks, a medical cobot Heal which focuses on physical and rehabilitation therapy for stroke patients and aids in remote imaging procedures like ultrasound and MRI scans and a collaborative robot Syncro meant for productivity in warehouses and factories, engineered to work alongside humans in shared spaces.
Speaking to BW Security World, Sangeet Kumar, co-founder of Addverb, expressed his enthusiasm for these new advancements and emphasised their role in enhancing workplace dynamics. “These robots are meticulously designed to elevate operational efficiency and ensure safety,” Kumar remarked. “Their utilisation of generative AI represents a significant milestone in the field of robotics.”

Generative AI, a sophisticated branch of artificial intelligence, empowers these robots with the requisite intelligence to anticipate and mitigate potential glitches proactively. Despite prevalent skepticism surrounding the adoption of generative AI, Kumar remains optimistic about its transformative potential. “I agree that people and organisations are uncertain about generative AI,” he acknowledged. “However, with ongoing advancements in research and development, organisations will adapt accordingly.”

Addverb, has a production capacity of 100,000 units per year for its subsidiary known as Bot-Verse. Currently, they’re producing approximately 10,000 units, exclusively intended for industrial use, as stated by Kumar.
