Gallagher Launches Cloud-based Security Platform OneLink

Command Centre v9.30 also introduces a number of new features designed to enhance system management and integration

Award-winning security solutions provider Gallagher Security has launched OneLink, a new cloud-based platform aimed at transforming how organisations secure remote and distributed locations. Released as the headline feature of Command Centre version 9.30, OneLink enables Gallagher Controller 7000s to connect directly to a base Command Centre server via the cloud—eliminating the need for virtual private networks (VPNs) or extended corporate network infrastructure.

Meredith Palmer, Chief Product Officer at Gallagher Security, described OneLink as a significant shift in the way remote security is delivered. “OneLink is a major step forward in how organisations secure remote locations. By connecting controllers to Command Centre via the cloud, we’re removing traditional barriers and extending powerful, enterprise-grade security to anywhere it’s needed,” she said.

With the ability to support remote security deployments at construction sites, public infrastructure facilities, utility installations, or branch offices, OneLink promises to offer organisations centralised control with improved efficiency. By simplifying deployment, it aims to reduce costs and operational overhead while ensuring consistent security performance.

Command Centre v9.30 also introduces a number of new features designed to enhance system management and integration. A new Warranty Report Generator helps identify outdated devices, enabling proactive maintenance and optimised system health. The release also brings automated credential management—allowing expired credentials to be automatically deleted—and extended support for third-party devices, including IDEMIA VisionPass SP and Vortex ground sensors.

“As one of the most feature-rich platforms on the market, our Command Centre releases continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re committed to innovating and uncovering new ways we can unlock even greater value for our users through the power of our solutions and our integration capabilities,” Palmer added.

Version 9.30 also offers operational improvements, particularly for multi-site organisations and those with complex security requirements. The update includes a Network Connectivity Tool for faster setup and troubleshooting, simplified controller configuration, enhanced card coding, and support for Z20 sensors in the Controller 7000 range. These additions are designed to minimise downtime and improve overall system performance.

Palmer concluded, “With Command Centre v9.30 we are putting more power in the hands of our customers, enabling innovative ways to meet business needs, and unlocking even greater value for everyone in the Gallagher ecosystem.”

As security threats grow more complex and distributed, solutions like OneLink could offer a more agile and scalable approach to physical security, particularly in challenging and dynamic environments.
