Established in 1934 and headquartered in Geneva, the ISL represents over two million security professionals across 120 countries
Major Manjit Rajain, Group Executive Chairman of Tenon Group, joined global security leaders at the 39th General Assembly of the International Security Ligue (ISL) held at the Lotte Hotel, New York, on 15–16 September 2025. The two-day gathering brought together senior executives from the world’s leading private security firms to deliberate on the future of the industry, technological disruptions, and evolving global risks.
Established in 1934 and headquartered in Geneva, the ISL represents over two million security professionals across 120 countries. The Ligue serves as a global platform to promote professionalism, ethical standards, and policy engagement, positioning private security as a key partner in public safety.
The Assembly, chaired by Magnus Ahlqvist, President and CEO of Securitas AB (Sweden), convened leaders from Allied Universal, Prosegur, Brink’s Company, and Securitas AG, among others. The agenda included board elections, reports since the last session in Zurich (2023), and the Ligue’s annual donation to New York Cares.
At the Leadership Forum – Private Security Track, moderated by Alper Cetingok of Raymond James & Associates, Major Rajain featured as one of the key panellists in a high-level discussion following a presentation by Gerry Parham of the IBM Institute for Business Value on “Quantum Computing: The Next Frontier.” The panel explored how emerging technologies, from artificial intelligence to quantum computing, are reshaping the global security landscape.
Drawing on his extensive experience in private security and facility management, Major Rajain underscored the need for a “balanced integration of technology with human expertise,” highlighting that innovation must strengthen—not replace—the human element in security operations. His insights resonated with a forum that also featured Chad Hoeft of Citi Bank, Ulrich Brechbuhl of Paladin Partners International, and Reid Sawyer of Marsh McLennan.
In parallel, the Cash Chapter Forum delved into the future of cash, payment systems, and cryptocurrencies, featuring contributions from experts representing the Federal Reserve, Giesecke+Devrient, and Rubicon Crypto.
Major Rajain’s participation underscored India’s growing presence in the global private security dialogue. As the industry continues to evolve amid digital transformation and geopolitical uncertainties, his perspective reinforced the importance of cross-border collaboration and leadership in shaping a resilient, technology-ready security ecosystem.
