New offerings aim to enhance cyber resilience across industries, leveraging TCS and Google Cloud’s innovative technologies
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has deepened its collaboration with Google Cloud, introducing two new cybersecurity solutions designed to strengthen cyber resilience for enterprises across various sectors.
The TCS Managed Detection and Response and TCS Secure Cloud Foundation solutions combine the advanced technologies of TCS and Google Cloud to provide comprehensive protection for digital infrastructures. “This partnership integrates the strengths, contextual expertise, and accelerators of TCS and Google Cloud, enabling enterprises to evolve into future-ready, cyber-resilient businesses,” stated Ganesa Subramanian, VP and Global Head of TCS’s Cybersecurity Business Group.
Subramanian also emphasised that the rise of Generative AI highlights the critical need to modernise cybersecurity practices and fortify cyber resilience.
The TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution, powered by Google’s Security Operations platform, is designed to help security teams detect and respond to threats more quickly. Meanwhile, the TCS Secure Cloud Foundation solution utilises Google Cloud’s security capabilities to enhance cloud security posture and governance across single, multi, and hybrid cloud environments. This solution has already proven its effectiveness, assisting a global bank headquartered in Germany by automating the identification and deployment of over 800 build-time and runtime security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
“Our extensive industry knowledge, comprehensive portfolio, and scalability on Google Cloud enable us to swiftly create value for our customers,” said Nidhi Srivastava, Vice President and Executive Champion for Google Cloud at TCS.
TCS’s cybersecurity services encompass a broad range of offerings, including consulting, implementation, and management of security services such as detection and response, identity and access management, attack surface management, governance, risk and compliance, data privacy and protection, digital forensics, incident response, and cloud security.
