VIVOTEK, a renowned provider of IP surveillance solutions worldwide, has once again demonstrated its commitment to social welfare initiatives. For three consecutive years, the company has been actively engaging in various community projects, and this year, it extended its efforts to school campuses. In a novel move, VIVOTEK organized a sustainability event called ‘Crafting a Safety Map for the Well-being of the Students’ at Shuangxi Elementary School in Taipei.
This venture marked VIVOTEK’s first foray into school campuses, where the team aimed to enhance safety awareness among students. Led by Allen Hsieh, the Global Marketing Director, VIVOTEK’s volunteering team devised interactive safety activities designed to educate students on accident prevention and self-protection. By gamifying safety knowledge challenges, they made learning fun and engaging for the lower-grade students.
Beyond just games, the team conducted a design thinking workshop to identify safety concerns within the school grounds. Drawing on expertise from different departments, they proposed practical solutions and even donated network cameras to bolster campus security. Principal Liao Dajiong of Shuangxi Elementary School expressed gratitude for VIVOTEK’s initiatives, emphasising the importance of student safety.
VIVOTEK’s President, Alex Liao, emphasized the company’s commitment to both societal welfare and user needs. He highlighted the importance of empathy in creating a safe environment and highlighted VIVOTEK’s dedication to aligning their services with community needs.
