Officials announced on Monday that the airline has taken immediate action by derostering the pilot pending the outcome of the investigation.
The incident took place on December 20 when the A320 Neo, operating a flight from Kochi to Dubai, experienced a hard landing. The aircraft, post the incident, remained grounded in Dubai for nearly a week, undergoing essential maintenance checks. A senior DGCA official confirmed that the DGCA is actively looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident, with the aircraft eventually returning to Mumbai on December 27.
