“As the adoption of AI accelerates across industries in India, compliance has emerged as a new cornerstone of wholesome innovation,” says Imteyaz Ansari, Founder at Azmarq Technovation Pvt. Ltd. “Businesses must now embed these principles deeply within their AI systems.”

Ansari highlights the growing relevance of frameworks like those developed by NITI Aayog, which promote values such as inclusiveness, safety, and algorithmic accountability. These values are especially important for CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) providers and other tech firms dealing with large-scale personal data.

“CPaaS platforms should adhere to these principles with secure data handling, audit trails, algorithmic transparency, and stringent opt-in mechanisms,” he explains.
